I am really new to this whole parenting thing. I'm still learning how to take care of my baby, my home, and myself at the same time. I love spending time with my little man, but I miss being able to do certain things that I had before taken for granted. Mostly, I miss having the time to write.
Many of you have been right where I'm at. So I thought I would ask you for advice.
What is the secret?
How do you find time to write, when its hard to even find the time to brush your teeth?

How old is your baby now? That does make a big difference. I think your little man is still little bitty, but the time is coming when he won't need you so constantly. As he grows deliberately teach him how to play independently for at least a long enough time period for you to grab a shower. Enjoy each blessed moment, and remember that even five minutes of writing is better than none at all!
ReplyDeleteThese are my daily "to-do" priorities in order of focus:
1) Homeschooling/Nurturing my Family
2) Writing Time
3) Housework
My husband works long hours, and when he is home I throw the to-do list out the window in favor of family time. :-)
Just keep trying. You will find what works for your household.
I wanted to mention (almost six months later) how helpful I found your comment. Thank you. We've finally figured out what works for our household, at least at this point in time.
